As above, so below — the old principle at the heart of astrology.

Your birth chart shows where the celestial bodies stood at the moment and place of your birth. These constellations do not cause your life — they are symbols. Astrology looks at how those symbols relate to what happens on earth.

A clock is the best comparison. It shows us the time without causing it. In the same way, the planets show us the quality of a moment: whether this is a time for setting out or for withdrawing, whether something wants to ripen or to be released.

The cosmos does not say this in plain words, but in a language of symbols. That language has to be translated, interpreted and applied to your life. That is my work.

Looking into your chart means looking into the depths. It shows your nature, your needs and your talents — but also the places where things become difficult and hurt. I like to call the chart a map of the soul: it shows you the terrain, but it does not walk the path for you.

Astrology cannot solve your problems. It cannot make decisions for you. But it can help you understand your life better — and show you paths you had not seen before.
